Who operates Cooter Cakes
Cooter Cakes is operated by To be confirmed by the operator. We provide the website, brand, ordering tools, digital Cootergrams, and customer support. The bakery identified on your product selection, checkout, receipt, and order record is the seller and preparer of your food.
Each food order is with one identified bakery. We help coordinate the order and support you on that bakery's behalf. The bakery is responsible for its food and fulfillment, and we remain responsible for our own services and any responsibilities that apply to us under law. These customer terms are separate from our commercial agreement with bakery partners.
Choosing an available order
Physical orders are available only for the locations, products, dates, and pickup or delivery methods offered at checkout. Enter accurate contact and fulfillment information, check the bakery's timezone and selected window, and review the product size, ingredients, allergens, and personalization proof before paying.
A cart does not reserve a finished cake. Availability can change before payment. If the product, price, seller, or fulfillment slot changes, we will ask you to review the new offer. We will not move a paid order to a different bakery without cancelling/refunding the original purchase and obtaining your agreement to a new checkout.
Prices, promotions, and payment at booking
Checkout shows the product price, discounts, delivery charge where available, applicable tax, any voluntary tip you choose, and the total in US dollars. Use only a payment method you are authorized to use. We use Stripe to process payment for the identified bakery.
You pay when you book, including when the food is scheduled for a later date. Payment is collected then; it is not a card reservation held until your event. Payment confirmation and bakery acceptance are separate, and an order is confirmed for fulfillment only after the bakery accepts it.
Promotions have the product, location, timing, and minimum-purchase conditions shown with the offer. A physical order must retain a positive customer-paid product price and a total payment of at least $0.50, or any higher minimum stated for the offer. A promotion does not create a free physical-order checkout. Free digital Cootergrams are separate from food purchases.
When the bakery must respond
While the bakery is staffed to accept orders, its acceptance deadline is within 15 minutes of successful payment. Before paying, any deadline based on paying immediately is labeled as an estimate. If the bakery is closed, a future order may be offered with an acceptance deadline normally 15 minutes after its next staffed opening, shown before checkout.
Your order record shows the final acceptance deadline after payment. We offer a booking only when that deadline leaves enough time for the agreed production and fulfillment. Routine seconds between a price quote and payment do not invalidate an otherwise feasible booking. A later calendar edit or delayed notification does not restart the acceptance clock.
If the bakery declines, misses its deadline, or cannot fulfill the agreed order, the order is cancelled and a refund is initiated under the Cancellation and refunds policy. The system does not automatically accept the order on the bakery's behalf. A payment received too late to meet the feasible schedule is also handled through cancellation and refund.
Pickup, delivery, and order updates
Use the confirmed pickup or delivery details in your order record. Keep your pickup code private and share it only with someone you authorize to collect the order. If delivery is offered, provide a complete address and necessary access instructions; unsupported delivery locations cannot be purchased.
Check order updates for acceptance, preparation, readiness, and handoff. Contact To be confirmed by the operator promptly if information is wrong, a delay affects your plans, or you cannot collect or receive the order. A requested change becomes part of the order only after it is reviewed and confirmed; support will explain any price or timing effect before you agree.
Digital gifts and acceptable messages
A Cootergram is a digital gift that can be created independently of local cake availability. Anyone with its share link can view the content allowed by that link. Its expiry is shown when created, with a default life of 90 days, and the sender can revoke it using the separate management control.
Use only names and messages you are entitled to share. Do not include delivery addresses, order details, credentials, sensitive personal information, unlawful threats, targeted harassment, or content intended to harm an unwilling recipient. We may restrict or remove abusive content and protect the service from misuse. This does not remove any refund or other rights relating to a food purchase.
Help, changes, and your rights
Contact To be confirmed by the operator about an order, digital gift, account, or complaint. We will review the issue and explain the available next step. The Cancellation and refunds policy describes the proposed remedies for cancelled, late, incorrect, or damaged orders.
These terms do not remove rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. The effective date and version shown on this page identify the operative terms; your order retains the version presented when you placed it. Material changes apply as explained with the updated notice and do not silently rewrite an existing order.
